Rosedale. Blue Chambray.
Chambray dates from the 1500’s from Cambrai, France. Eventually, it was widely adopted in the US in the early 1900’s when the U.S. Navy first authorized the use of denim and chambray. From then on, it was commonplace to see sailors wearing chambray shirts and denim pants. Workers across the U.S. quickly adopted the shirting fabric, giving birth to the term “blue collar.” This classic style has become one of our best selling shirts over the years.
