Shirt jackets are great layering pieces.  Constructed from a heavy twill, this garment is basically an up-armoured shirt with a looser cut so it can be worn in cooler weather.  Sometimes called overshirts, shackets, or CPO (chief petty officer) shirts, their rugged fabrics and durable craftsmanship have made them popular in recent years.   It's a cross between a shirt and a jacket.  This is something wonderful that will last.
